Reed Learning has been delivering training and development services since 1995 and is currently one of the UK’s leading providers, helping over 20,000 people to become more efficient in their jobs.
The Reed Learning website lacked an overarching hierarchical structure, resulting in users often requiring guidance around the site and our key challenge was to differentiate the wide range of courses online to enable easy browsing and booking. Our key focus for the project was to increase the usability of the website, in particular, the accessibility of each page, whist improving the sitemap structure by examining more user-course content and titles.
Built on award-winning CMS, Sitecore, the rejuvenated Reed Learning website utilises the latest technologies in design and development. Going forward, Reed Learning will be able to make use of the Sitecore Digital Marketing Suite, providing the sales team with rich information regarding user aims and, most importantly, a better understanding of how these aims can be addressed to drive future performance. In order to improve usability, the Reed Learning website now consists of one hierarchical structure, enabling users to navigate around the site in an intuitive, user friendly manner.
The engaging, interactive homepage has increased the overall awareness of Reed Learning’s core offerings whilst providing a more intuitive user journey for customers; users are able to navigate around the site by moving ‘side to side’ across different high-level sections, or by drilling ‘up and down’ for lower level, specific pages.
The result is a beautifully designed and technically robust website that's a great showcase for our brand. Even after a couple of weeks we're already seeing improved results.
